The Gentlemen

I just love men wearing suits, especially when they have the confidence to raise their heads up high! Women, such as myself, are attracted to well-dressed men.  It gives them that gentlemen appeal and the sophistication that ladies just love. I came across this men's clothing apparel called Bonobos, and I just thought of three people: Chuck Bass (Gossip Girl), Jay Gatsby (The Great Gatsby) and Barney Stinson (How I Met Your Mother).Yes, I know they are fictional characters, but I really do wish they exist in real life.

They've recently launched their Foundation Suit Collection, which features a high-end tailored fit in wool and cotton. Bonobos have different varieties of clothing, like: polo shirts, khaki pants, golf pants, accessories for men, etc. The men from the Roaring 20's wore these kinds of clothing. The 20's was a time of luxury and sophistication, and they certainly dressed the part!

Bonobos is a clothing apparel for men based in one of the greatest cities in the world- New York City. The Big Apple is such a fashionable place. The clothing from Bonobos is something I want my guy friends to wear! It will make guys look like complete gentlemen and mysterious. Who doesn't love a little mystery? I know I do.

Bonobos Foundation Suits offer a made-to-measure feel available off the rack, and a fit that works for a range of body types. The Foundation Suit jackets are slightly tapered through the body for a fitted but not-too-tight feel. Jackets are also lined and feature contrast pattern binding, adding Bonobos’ signature pop of color.

In addition, Bonobos also offers vests for the Foundation Wool suits in navy, charcoal, and light grey for a 3-piece option. Falling in line with Bonobos design for better-fitting suits, the vests are also slimmer in construction. Snuggly fitting across the shoulders and hitting right at the hips, the vests add a more formal look to the wool suiting.

“Fit is the most important detail for a suit. Marry that with classic color options and quality fabric, and you have a great looking, versatile suit for every occasion,” says Dwight Fenton, Bonobos VP of Design.

Fenton’s simple suit tips to find the right fit:

• Fit starts with the shoulders: The jacket should grab your shoulders snuggly but not be overly tight. If the shoulders fit, pretty much anything else can be adjusted.

• Length matters: To determine the appropriate length, you should be able to cup the bottom of the suit with your arms by your side.

• Show some shirt: A flexible but general rule of thumb is to have a quarter-inch of your shirt cuff showing. If you’re wearing a heavier cuff, like a French cuff, you may want to show a little more
